INSPECTIONS
  • Ultrasonic Inspection ( the weld seam is inspected with automatic transductors (2), one at each side of the pipe.
  • Weld seam heat treatment inspection.
  • Visual and dimensional inspection.
  • Second Ultrasonic inspection.

4.- TESTS
  • Flattening test..
  • Ductibility test
  • Hydrostatic test (Pressure verification 3 times per shift )
  • Preessure Verification ( 3 times per shift )

5.- FINAL INSPECTION
  • Virtual Inspection
  • Inside ( from ends )
  • Outside ( all pipe length )
  • Ends ( Circunferential )
  • Ends ( with ring and micrometer )
  • Bevel ( with gage )
  • Squarness ( with square and master gage )
  • Marking ( Manual identification )

6.- ULTRASONIC INSPECTION
  • Ultrasonic Inspected ( the weld seam is inspected by four transductors ).
  • The automatic ultrasonic equipment for the weld seam, include the following:
    1. A clear acoustic warning system.
    2. An automatic light warning system.
    3. 2 or 4 probes / 2 or 4 transductors
    4. Reference Standards.
  • Hole 1/8" or V10.
  • Using dinamyc calibration.

7.- LABORATORY
